BellaNet/WOCAD in Iceland 7-10 November!

WOCAD inspired girl group leaders in Iceland! On November 7 -10 BellaNets project manager Britt Fredenman travelled to Iceland at the invitation of the Icelandic organization Blatt Afram. She introduced about 30 girl group leaders in The interactive method material "Bella Rubble and Roses 2" (KSAN / K.Byréus, 2001, 2006). The participants came from schools, leisure, voluntary and personnel involved in drug prevention.

The participants will be invited to become members of BellaNet Network for girl group leaders. BellaNet is offered as a source of experience and exchange for the Icelandic girl group leaders so that they can be strengthened in working with girl groups.

WOCADs drug prevention work with a focus on girls and women, BellaNet, 2009 was approved by the European Commission as an activity within the European Action on Drugs / EAD. The goal of EAD is to disseminate information and raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse among young people. EAD includes nonprofit organizations, local and national stakeholders, individuals, schools, universities, companies, etc. Learn more about EAD onwww.action-drugs.eu .
